Drum type of asphalt mixing plant has no mixer. It uses drying drum to dry aggregates and mix them with bitumen. Operates continuously.

How an Asphalt Plant Works

The production process of asphalt mixing plant can be divided into the following steps:
1. Aggregate conveying: Aggregate in the cold bin is fed into the drying drum through belt conveyor.
2. Drying and Heating: Aggregate is heated and excess moisture is removed in the drying drum by contacting with high temperature flue gas.
